How to Write a Nursing Case Study Report How to Write a Case Study in Nursing Do you need help with your reflective case study in nursing? Are you wondering what sections you should include into your forensic nursing case study? Nursing school can be a real challenge with difficult classes such as pharmacology and anatomy, a large amount of reading, and daunting written assignments. Nursing students are often assigned to write case study reports and nursing care plans as a part of their professional training. If you are struggling with your nursing papers and need advice on how to write a nursing case study report, read our easy writing guide. A nursing case study should present an in-depth analysis of a real life incident or a specific situation. It is a practical way to illustrate theory and content using a real or simulated life situation or even both. In other words, itâs a nursing care plan written in a form of a formal essay. Thatâs why you should write it using the nursing process as a method to organize your thoughts. When writing this paper, you should keep in mind 5 steps of a nursing process: Make an assessment of the patient Make a list of nursing diagnoses of the patient Define goals of care and specify nursing interventions Describe how you will start the care plan Specify how to determine if the goals of the nursing care plan and the outcomes have been met A well-written case study report in nursing requires good planning and consideration. In the planning stage, you should determine a focus and format of your case study and write some objectives or outcomes that show what can be learned from this report. A nursing case study report usually contains several sections that can be organized into three categories: The patient status The nursing assessment of the patient Current care plan and possible recommendations The patient status The patient status section should provide information about demographic data (age, race), medical history, and current diagnosis and treatment. You can describe the patientâs family and social history and explain the reasons why he/she sought medical attention and what the subsequent diagnosis was. Then, you should discuss the disease process and define causes, describe symptoms and observations, and explain how the current treatment can affect the nursing care. The nursing assessment When discussing the patientâs nursing assessment, you should describe nursing diagnoses. You should describe vital signs and test results and provide information on nursing observations. You should be specific and explain why you identified a particular diagnosis. These nursing diagnoses will help you determine the nursing care plan. The current care plan and your recommendations for improvement In this section, you should describe details of the nursing care plan, including the measurable goals and interventions. You should explain how the nursing care plan can improve the patientâs quality of life. You should also evaluate the current care plan and provide your recommendations on how it can be improved. You recommendations should be based on the patientâs diagnosis, its current status, and prognosis. You should support your recommendations with relevant authoritative sources and cite them using the proper style according to the style guidelines. Here you should take into account your instructorâs requirements. When you finish writing your nursing case study report, you should proofread it, check punctuation, and fix grammar and spelling errors. You should add references list if there are any. Application of Ict on Accounting - 4286 Words
Applications of ICT in Accounting. Accounting records have been maintained only on a manual basis for a period now. The bookkeeper or the owner is required to fill a paper source document for each sale or receipt, and then work overtime writing the transactions of the day or week in special journals, stock cards, and debtor and creditor records. This obviously took some time, time that would otherwise have been spent operating the business. The business also pays extra money to account officers as overtime bonus. Consequently, completing the accounting records was sometimes seen as an impediment to business, rather than a tool of making it more profitable. Attribute Of The Products Essay Example For Students
Attribute Of The Products Essay The Brand/Product:1.Attributes: The attributes are the products primary characteristics, both physical and functional. They are what the consumer might recognize first about the product through the five senses. The physical attributes are what make the product what it is. They are scent, texture, package, contents, variety and price. The functional attributes are shown by how the products work. They include sun protection, moisture for the skin and an attractive promotion. 2. Benefits:Benefits are what the actual product attributes can do for the consumer. It is important to make these benefits different from the competitions. Each physical attribute possesses certain benefits that satisfy the consumers wants. The scent of our product is what makes our lotion so different. None of our competition brands have a scented sun tan lotion on the market that is targeted at our segment; the only other is Coppertone Kids varieties (5). Our lotion comes in a very appealing scent that makes the consumer feel comfortable and excited about putting sun tan lotion on their bodies. There is no overbearing or strong oily scent like some lotions, and there is no fake odor like the coconut tanning oils that are on the market today (1). All of this was taken into consideration when we came out with our light, refreshing and mild- scented fragrance called Summer Rain. All of our varieties of lotion will be in this scent because it is one that can be appealing to all differ ent types of people, not just our target market. The texture is non-oily and does not feel too heavy on the skin. This is important because when people use our product, they will be pleased that they do not have to worry about clogs pores that may lead to acne. It also leaves the skin feeling healthier because of the natural moisturizers. Our lotion comes in three different varieties for different skin types. We have lotion for normal skin, dry skin, and oily skin. Each lotion has certain amounts of Vitamin E, aloe and vera and other moisturizers so that the skin will always return to its natural balance as it is used (4). The contents of our product are always organic and pure. We use only the finest and botanical ingredients, all carefully tested for purity and effectiveness. (4) This makes the product safer to use for the consumer and for the earth. It is clean and refreshing, not oily and irritating. Plus, we keep in mind the earth and all creatures by never testing on any animal. This is important with the current market trend of products that are pure, safe, and friendly to animals. (4)The package is also another factor that defines Herbal Essence. The clear bottles allow the consumer to see the purity of this product. This feature also allows brand loyal customers to easily identify our product by its signature clear bottle. Sun protection is a big issue today with the wide spread fear of skin cancer. Our lotions include the ingredients needed to protect the suns UV rays (2). Each SPF is recommended by the FDA for certain skins and how they burn or tan. For example, our SPF of 4 is for those who do not burn much and tan quite easily (3). The SPFs offered are 4, 8, 15, 30 and 45. The price of our product allows an affordable and competitive way to protect the skin and, but without sacrificing quality or quantity. The sun tan lotions on the market today have a price trend of between $3.79 to $11.99 (1). We offer our lotion in two sizes: 4oz and 8 oz, which should retail for $5.19 and $7.95 respectfully. We feel comfortable with these prices because we place our selves around the middle of the pack, but we do not want to be identified as a cheap brand. We want our customers to know that they are buying a high quality product. .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf , .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf .postImageUrl , .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf , .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf:hover , .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf:visited , .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf:active { border:0!important; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf:active , .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u8e690735649b83a19b1ea5f78442fadf:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Beowulf Vs Grendel EssayThe last important benefit or our product is its great variety. It involves giving employee smaller tasks, while they monitor and assess the work being done (www. dictionary. com). Micro management is often used in the beginning of any business or establishment; basically, you need to start somewhere. In the opening of a new business, guidance will always need to be offered from cooperate offices to ensure a clean transition in the opening process. Once a business is established, management will in turn micro manage their employees; guiding them through the procedures and responsibilities the company requires. Because micro managing involves supervisors overlooking the tasks their employees are undertaking, often times it is thought of as an unenthusiastic tactic. Through the eyes of an associate, micro managing can be de motivating, in turn creating doubt and lack of confidence in the workplace. Even though micro managing is used as an introductory tool, it can be drawn out for a longer duration of time. Distrust, skepticism, and uncertainty are typical feelings an employee may experience if their supervisor is abusing the method of micro managing. The role of manager is an important position of supervision in any organization. The supervisor/manager plays a key function, in the day to day needs of the organization, by finding a balance of work efficiency and managing personnel. This balance becomes even more prevalent when assigning projects or interacting with subordinates. buy custom Impacts of Computers essay We owe everything that we have today to technology. Technology has greatly impacted our lives. However, computer technology has completely outdone all the other forms of technologies. Computers have made the impossible possible, things that could not easily be achieved are now possible due to them. The history of computers goes back a long way. The first electronic computers were people. This is because the machines developed did things that were initially carried out by people. Originally, the term computer was a title assigned to human beings whose role was to carry out repetitive computation of calculations (Cnaan and Parsole, 2009). The abacus was invented to aid mans memory while carrying out calculations. In 1942, John Eckert, John Maunchly and their associates built the first electronic computer. It is undeniable that computers have made such a big impact in our lives and the society as a whole. It is no longer possible to find a place where computers are not involved in carrying out one or more activities. Whichever direction you turn into, there is always the need of a computer. Currently almost all business entities need computers and their respective technologies to carry out their activities. The past few years have seen this field of technology advance rapidly and due to this it has been transformed as the core tool in business today (Cnaan nd Parsole, 2009). Computer technology has seen unimaginable advancements prompting every organization to use it. Investors consider computers inexpensive assets that are a must have due to their conveniences in creating opportunities for investment. It is through computers that we are able to search for jobs online, learn a vast range of things, carry out research and buy stock. It is true to assert that computers have transformed the world a lot (Rosenberg, 2004). It is through the computer that man has been assisted to step forward and face the future. We owe a lot to computers. Thorough computers, space exploration is possible, new vehicle designs have been developed, entertainment is more interesting and science and medicine has been able to manufacture better and improved medicines to cure diseases. Though to some it may be difficult to notice how computers have impacted our lives, it is due to computers that life has become much easier and enjoyable. As stated by Rosenberg (2004), computers play a very vital and positive role in the education sector. Students are able to work on their assignments through internet research. Learners can also type their reports on the word processing program. This is a program thatt makes it possible for learners to type their work or assignments. Business entities and computers are inseparable. The entities use computers to keep track of their stocks, money, accounts and all things that are crucial for the running of the business. Computers have various programs which are important in presentation of information and ideas to people. The computer is not only essential for its word processing program but the device can carry a huge sum of data and information. Thinking that our past generation was able to live without computers is unbelievable. The uses of computers range from one thing to millions of activities. Commerce is unheard of and impossible without computers (Rosenberg, 2004). Computers regulate commercial activities and communicate to millions of people across all over the world in a matter of seconds concurrently. Computers have helped the world a lot and thus preparing for the future more comfortably. Entertainment and businesses entities use computers to make profits, education institutions use computers to assist learners to learn better. Similarly, the medical department cannot look down upon the importance of computers. Without the assistance of computers, many things that are possible today would not have been possible. The world would have been a primitive and dull place to live in without this important device. Buy custom Impacts of Computers essay

Thank You Note Definition and Writing Tips
Thank You Note Definition and Writing Tips A thank-you note is a type of correspondence in which the writer expresses gratitude for a gift, service, or opportunity. Personal thank-you notes are customarily handwritten on cards. Business-related thank-you notes are usually typed on company letterhead, but they, too, may be handwritten. Basic Elements of a Thank-You Note [The] basic elements for writing a thank-you note should include: Address the individual(s), using aà salutationà or greeting. . . .Say thank you.Identify the gift (be certain to get this one right. It does not look good to thank Mr. and Mrs. Smith for the lingerie when they sent you a toaster.)Express how you feel about the gift and what it will be used for.Add a personal note or message.Sign your thank-you note. Within this framework, there is a great deal of latitude. When preparing to write a note, sit for a moment and consider your relationship with the person to whom you are writing. Is it intimate and personal? Is it someone you know as an acquaintance? Are you writing to a complete stranger? This should dictate the tone of your writing. (Gabrielle Goodwin and David Macfarlane, Writing Thank-You Notes: Finding the Perfect Words. Sterling, 1999) Six Steps to Writing a Personal Thank-You Note [1]Dear Aunt Dee, [2]Thank you so much for the great new duffel bag. [3]I cant wait to use it in my spring break cruise. The bright orange is just perfect. Not only is it my favorite color (you know that!), but Ill be able to spot my bag a mile away! Thanks for such a fun, personal, and really useful gift! [4]Im really looking forward to seeing you when I get back. Ill come over to show you pictures from the trip! [5]Thanks again for always thinking of me. [6]Love, Maggie [1] Greet the recipient. [2] Clearly state why you are writing. [3] Elaborate on why you are writing. [4] Build the relationship. [5] Restate why you are writing. [6] Give your regards. (Angela Ensminger and Keeley Chace, Note-worthy: A Guide to Writing Great Personal Notes. Hallmark, 2007) Thank-You Note Following a Job Interview An essential job-seeking technique, as well as a gesture of courtesy, is to thank the person who interviews you. Write a note immediately after the interview and before a decision has been made. State what you liked about the interview, the company, the position. Emphasize briefly and specifically your suitability for the job. Address concerns about your qualifications that came up during the interview. Mention any issue that you didnt have the opportunity to discuss. If you felt you misspoke or left the wrong impression, this is where you can correct your interviewbut be brief and subtle. You dont want to remind the interviewer of a weak point. (Rosalie Maggio, How to Say It: Choice Words, Phrases, Sentences, and Paragraphs for Every Situation, 3rd ed. Penguin, 2009) Thank-You Notes to College Admission Offices Call it a testament to how carefully students court college admissions offices these days: Thank-you notes have become the new frontier. . . . Miss Manners, Judith Martin, who writes a syndicated etiquette column that runs in more than 200 newspapers, says she, for one, does not think thanks are needed for a campus visit: I would never, ever say, Donââ¬â¢t write a thank-you note under any circumstances. I donââ¬â¢t want to discourage them. But it is not really a situation that is mandatory. Still, some admissions advisers [disagree]. It seems like a small thing, but I tell my students that every contact with the college contributes to their perception of you, said Patrick J. Oââ¬â¢Connor, director of college counseling at the private Roeper School in Birmingham, Mich. (Karen W. Arenson, Thank-You Note Enters College Admission Game. The New York Times, Oct. 9, 2007) A CEOs Thank-You Notes Dear Bloomberg Businessweek Friends, Thank you for asking my perspective on writing thank you notes. In my 10 years as President and CEO of Campbell Soup Company, I sent out over 30,000 notes to our 20,000 employees. I found it was a powerful way to reinforce our strategies, to let our employees know we were paying attention and to let them know that we cared. I kept my notes short (50-70 words) and to the point. They celebrated accomplishments and contributions of real significance. They were virtually all handwritten to make the communication more authentic and personal. It is a practice that I highly recommend. Good luck! Doug (Douglas Conant, Write a Thank-You Note. Bloomberg Businessweek, Sep. 22, 2011) Thank-You Note to Anita Hill Anita Hill, I want to personally thank you for what you did for us twenty years ago. Thank you for speaking up and speaking out. Thank you for your quiet dignity, your eloquence and elegance, your grace under pressure. Thank you for illuminating the complexities of female powerlessness and for explaining why you didnââ¬â¢t complain when the offense first occurred, and for describing how cowed and coerced a woman can feel when sheââ¬â¢s hit upon by a man who controls her economic destiny. . . . (Letty Cottin Pogrebin, A Thank-You Note to Anita Hill. The Nation, Oct. 24, 2011)
